ENHANCING EMPLOYABILITY

Enhancing Employability of Students of Professional Courses

About 20 Lakh  Engineers and 8 Lakh Management Graduates Pass Out In India every year and the number is ever increasing since 2008 Fewer Getting Hired. 20-33% out of them do not get a job at all. This is likely to go further as the number of Engineering / MBA Colleges, as well as students, is increasing more than demand. Most of those who get hired are employed in non – engineering/non-management jobs For those who get a job, the entry-level salary is pathetically low and has stagnated at that level for the last 5 – 6 years and is expected to be so for the next 4-5 years.
According to the India Skills Report 2021, more than half of B.tech graduates lack tech skills. Due to lack of professional skill sets, not even half of the Indian graduates are employable, reveals the eighth edition of the India Skill Report(ISR) released last week. In 2021, only 45.9 percent of graduates are found employable, a decline from 46.21 percent in 2020 and 47.38 percent in 2019, the report stated. Some established organisations and a few start-ups are offering services to enhance the technical skills of these students. But no one is working on the softer aspects i.e. aptitude, competency etc. and hence, though technically qualified, the students remain unemployable.
Synergic management Consulting offers a systematic approach towards competency level and help them to improve upon and also provide training required to be employable and also be successful in their career.
